Technical support in life sciences and food technology

As simulation techniques develop, particularly in continuum mechanics, there is a growing number of connections with medicine and life sciences.

As a result of this convergence, our engineers have been involved in research projects dealing with the structural behaviour of arterial walls and the fluid-structure interaction phenomena that develop between the blood flow and the wall, including the simulation of pathologies and the study of possible solutions.

We also give support to other related industrial activities, with projects like the study of the behaviour of single-use syringes, or the automated preparation and handling of medical vials.
